i never thought i actually get down to getting a job over the holidays but i finnally ACTUALLY DID! wow-
ya, it's thru job attachment but it's still a job, as in a REAL job where you earn REAL money!
I WORKED AT A LAWFIRM! Andrew Tan Tiong Gee and Co. wow. was quite ineresting finding out the diff procedures taken and stuff and watching them handle clients! we may even see REAL court action on wednesday (which the oxford dictionary in the office tells me its 'the day that follow tuesday' what helpful info.) .
whoever said law was boring was well.. umm half correct la actually. there's ALOT and ALOT of detail in law. we stepped into the office and there was a bookshelf filled with a whole humongously thick collection of books dated from 2001 to 2006 or smthg.. and each year got part one, part two, part.......... yar-
whoa. but the whole experience today was interesting, fun and very slack. amazing rite? we sat in the office the whole day enjoying aircon.
we read 4 case files each one at least 7 cm thick!, but there were nice stories inside.. and we got to read all the diff property ppl owned that was to be distributed to the deceased's family etc.. i always knew life was complicated but today i learnt that death can be even more complicating. WOW. okok not so wow.
then we listened to what clients came in to say to Mr Tan. way more interesting than the files as it was sort of like real action.. then when they left, me and D were SO bored that we started reading the oxford dictionary lying on the table!
i found out that wednesday is the day that follows tuesday
that five is the number that comes after four
and that Charles is a very popular name in England, Spain, ... and a whole lot of other countries.
yup, the dictionary is as nonsense as me and D.
oh wells, there's some jubilate prac tmr so i'll go back to work on weds yay.
